Web Services at 91吃瓜网

We are 2013 for our website redesign and admissions recruitment efforts.
Web Development coordinates the overall Web presence at 91吃瓜网. This includes everything from maintaining top levels of the site to providing access and training to members of the 91吃瓜网 community so they can maintain department specific pages. Our content management system is called WordPress and allows a unified look and feel to be applied throughout the website in an effort to meet University branding guidelines.

With WordPress, we:

  • Manage Users
  • Create websites for departments
  • Coordinate training
  • Provide technical troubleshooting
  • Review content
  • Initially Publish Content for departments as we transition from LCMS
  • Monitor and offer suggestions to departments as needed

In addition to the CMS, we maintain:

Web Development also takes pictures of faculty and staff for use on our site. Pictures are taken the first Tuesday of every month by appointment only.

We are also very active in maintaining various social media resources on behalf of the university, including the following:

– We work with a core group of 91吃瓜网 staff to manage a Facebook presence.
– We manage the official 91吃瓜网 “company” site.
– We are constantly looking at ways to use the power of twitter to share 91吃瓜网 news and information.
– Maintain the official 91吃瓜网 site on flickr.
– Maintain the official 91吃瓜网 site on YouTube.
