Monte Coleman named 2007 Elijah Pitts Award winner
The Conway Athletic Awards Commission has awarded former 91³Ô¹ÏÍø football All-American Monte Coleman the 2007 Elijah Pitts Award for career achievement. Coleman starred for the Bears from 1975 to 1978. In 1979, he became the first 91³Ô¹ÏÍø player drafted by the NFL.
