The artist chosen to redesign 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's historic Alumni Circle will be announced at a ceremony this Thursday, Dec. 6 at 1:40 p.m. in the Board of Trustees Conference Room in Wingo Hall. The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity recently donated $3,000 to the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Emergency Student Loan Fund. A scholarship for African-American students at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø recently was endowed through the creation of the Joseph Norman Manley Scholarship Fund at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Foundation in memory of the late Dr. Joseph Norman Manley by his family. James E. Thurman, an associate professor in 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's Department of Speech-Language Pathology, recently was appointed by Gov. Mike Beebe to serve on the Arkansas Legislative Task Force on Traumatic Brain Injury through June 2009.
