Dr. Amy Hawkins serves as the Assistant Provost of Teaching and Academic Leadership. Amy has been a professor in public relations at the University of Central Arkansas since 1999. She teaches upper-division courses in public relations management, campaign planning, organizational communication and leadership. She is accredited in public relations (APR) and serves as the faculty advisor for the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She has a Ph. D. in organizational leadership from Regent University, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her research has focused on the relationship between organizational learning and leadership in the context of a Fortune 500 learning organization. In addition to her role in higher education, she has served as a research consultant and offers coaching and consulting services in organizational analysis, strategic planning, leadership development, and performance training.
