This week the University of Central Arkansas unveiled a new streamlined ticketing system that will allow 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students, alumni and friends to purchase tickets for all 91³Ô¹ÏÍø events from one location.
Reynolds Box Office is now 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Ticket Central and will sell tickets for all 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Public Appearances, athletic events, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Theatre performances, student activities and the Conway Symphony Orchestra.
The new software system, ProVenueMax from Tickets.com, comes with the added convenience of online ticket sales. Individuals may log onto www.uca.edu/tickets to purchase admission to any of the aforementioned events.
Guy Couch, director of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Public Appearances, said the new system offers greater access to events and performances on the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Campus. ?Not only can a person find all ticketed events in one office, but we provide a toll free phone line for the entire state, as well as the new online ticketing service. New box office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday,? he said.
Couch said the idea for selling tickets for various events at one campus location came from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Athletic Director Vance Strange, who was looking for a way to track ticket sales for athletic events. “If we ever decided to move up a notch in NCAA some day, we need to have some idea of what our real fan base is,” Strange explained.
Strange said the new system will make it much more convenient for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø alumni and friends to purchase tickets to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø events. “With the online ticket sales, a person can go online and purchase their tickets without ever leaving home,” he said.
