CONWAY— University of Central Arkansas President Tom Courtway announced Thursday that Kelley Erstine will be joining the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø executive staff effective September 1, 2014. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, a position he has held since July 2008.
Mr. Erstine, a native of Sheridan, Arkansas, is a 1979 graduate of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø with a degree in journalism. Previously he served as a member of the University’s Board of Trustees, and also served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. In his new position with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, he will serve as Chief of Staff. His salary will be $165,000 per year.
In announcing the addition of Kelley Erstine, Courtway stated, “I am very pleased that Kelley Erstine has agreed to serve as Chief of Staff. He knows the institution very well, is a proven administrator and is well known throughout the State of Arkansas. He and his wife, Leslie, are excited about returning to the state and to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, and he will be an asset to the university as we move ahead.
