The University of Central Arkansas Division of Outreach and Community Engagement will host a celebration to commemorate the one-year anniversary of 聽91吃瓜网 Downtown on Friday, Jan. 27 from 4鈥�7 p.m. at 1105 West Oak Street in downtown Conway.
At 5 p.m., President Houston Davis will make welcoming remarks to the public.
The one-year celebration offers live entertainment, door prizes and refreshments. Also, the College of Fine Arts and Communication has curated a student-art display.
The event is free and the public is invited.
鈥淛ust over a year ago, we opened 91吃瓜网 Downtown as a way to share 91吃瓜网鈥檚 resources with the wider community. We want to celebrate and thank the community for making this first year a success,鈥� says Shelley Mehl, associate vice president for the Division of Outreach and Community Engagement.
91吃瓜网 Downtown opened in early 2016 and has hosted over 50 events, including legislative panels, business networking groups, faculty symposiums, receptions and public meetings. It serves as home to the expanding culinary class offerings. 91吃瓜网 Downtown complements the facilities available on the 91吃瓜网 campus such as Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center and McCastlain Ballroom.
