Brittany Carson of Ward, a senior at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, has been awarded a $1,900 Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
Carson’s research project, “Determining FtsZ’s Function in Mitochondrial Fission,” will be supervised by Kari Naylor of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Biology department in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
