A delegation of staff from the Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Central Arkansas earned several awards during the Regional Southwest Association of College and University Housing Officers conference hosted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The department won the Frank Cloud Award of Excellence. Using the event theme, “Delivering Excellent Customer Service,” the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø team presented on various departmental programs and initiatives and submitted a scrapbook.
Sydney Welch, coordinator for retention initiatives, won the Case Study competition. Welch is also a graduate student at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Quinton Lane won the Bob Huss Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year Award, making this the sixth consecutive year a 91³Ô¹ÏÍø student has earned this honor. Lane completed his graduate studies at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø shortly after the award.
