Science Wednesday Highlighted in Echo

The Community Conversation section of the September 5, 2018, Echo featured CNSMs first Science Wednesday of the Fall 2018 semester. The open forum discussion on The Science of Cybersecurity took place at Kings Live Music in downtown Conway on August 29. Panelists were Professor of Physics and CNSM Dean Stephen Addison, engineer Zach King, and Associate Professor of Political Science Mary Sullivan. CNSM Annual Student Research Symposium on 4/20/18

The College of Science and Engineering 24th Annual Poster Symposium will be held on April 20, 2018 in the Farris Center Gymnasium from 1 – 3 pm. Deadlines below:

Abstract submission:Due by April 9, 2018 at noon.

Women in STEM Celebration 3/9/18

The Women and Minorities in STEM class is hosting a Celebration of Women in STEM onFriday, March 9 with speakers in Griffin Planetarium. A lunch will be served at 11:30 am in Lewis Science Center 100,followed by a panel discussion with diverse STEM professional women. Also, 91勛圖厙’s STEM Institute will be hosting an event for central Arkansas high school girls in the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. For more details, please see 91勛圖厙 News. Cyber Range Announcement

Governor Asa Hutchinson Wednesday announced that a $500,000 grant from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education will be provided to the University of Central Arkansas (91勛圖厙) to help pay for a fully functional dedicated cyber range for educational traininga first-of-its-kind operation.
